Get Ready for the New Escape With Zeck Ford!

The 2013 Ford Escape will roll into the Zeck Ford showroom shortly. And when we say "shortly," we mean, any day now. We're very excited to see it in person, and it turns out that so are many of you in the Leavenworth area. As a matter of fact, drivers around the country are getting their garages ready for the new Escape - 8,000 of them to be exact.

At least, that's how...

We've probably never been more excited about a new powertrain technology than we are about the upcoming Ford Focus Electric. It'll be rolling into the Zeck Ford showroom shortly, and we have to be honest with you - it's turning out to be even better than The Blue Oval first said it would be. No really! Back at the end of 2011, Ford announced that they expected the Focus EV to reach 100 MPGe. Now, the official EPA-estimates have been released, and the car not only...

Ford Endeavors to Save More Water

We're lucky enough to live in a country where we have access to plenty of clean water for drinking, cooking and bathing. And, as far as auto makers like Ford are concerned, water plays a vital role in the manufacturing of cars like the Ford Focus and Fusion. You'd probably be surprised to hear that many carmakers can use as much as 40,000 gallons of water for each vehicle they produce.

If you're trying to do the math in your head - let's just skip to the end: that's...

Ford Gambles with Ford F-150 and Wins Big

Ford took a bit of a gamble when they stuck their EcoBoost V6 into the powerful Ford F-150. Experts predicted that buyers would still favor the 5.0-liter V8, but as sales of the F-150 topped 100,000 this year, nearly half of all models featured the EcoBoost engine. The number sounds more impressive still when you take into account that the more fuel-efficient engine option came with an additional $895 price tag.

This wasn't the only...

Ford Nails the 55 MPG Mark Right on the Head

Ford is hitting higher fuel economy marks each day, and we here at Zeck Ford continue to be impressed with their success. Take for instance, the fact that the 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid achieves an impressive 41 highway miles per gallon. This latest feat in Ford's ongoing effort to ease the pain at the pump that so many drivers feel will soon be overshadowed by the release of even more fuel efficient models, such…

Zeck Ford understands drivers need for a reliable car defined by understated sporty looks and celebrated fuel economy. And it just so happens that we have the perfect vehicle to meet those needs!

The 2012 Ford Fusion gets an estimated 41 mpg city driving. Nothing any of us can scoff at. Ford, however, is planning to outdo themselves, increasing the fuel economy of their 2013 Ford Fusion by 15 percent. That translates to an outstanding…

USA Today and Cars.com recently decided to team up and host an official "Under 20/Over 35 Shootout." In order to participate, cars had to either cost more than 20,000 and/or delivered less than 35 mpg. The strict criteria left just two auto makers and only five contenders - including the 2012 Ford Focus. For the shootout, USA Today and Cars.com enlisted the help of a family comprised of a teen driver…

New 2011 Fiesta Outsells Focus

According to a Bloomberg News report: The Ford Fiesta is averaging higher sales figures than not only its larger sibling the Focus, but fetching more than competing cars.

Maybe it's the Ford Fiesta'a European styling? Or maybe it's that 40 MPG rating helping out. Whatever the case may be, the new Ford Fiesta is outselling the Ford Focus like wildfire.

The Fiesta went on sale in the United States in June where…

Ford Announces 2012 Focus Torque Vectoring Technology

"Torque vectoring" has become an industry buzzword, and Ford has shown no bounds in marketing its new technology. Ford announced their 2012 Focus recently, which will be equipped with 'torque-vectoring technology' to improve control and lateral stability when cornering.

"For the driving enthusiast, it provides more aggressive, confident handling," admits Jim Hughes, chief engineer for Ford Focus, in a telephone interview.

The system "gathers data from vehicle sensors to apply nominal braking force to the…

Lincoln's Shot at Revival

In an attempt to seek revival by attracting a new fanbase - LINCOLN is adding the Ford Ecoboost engine to their all new MKS models. "These are turbocharged four and V6 overachievers designed to maintain performance while improving fuel economy and emissions," according to Speed TV.

LINCOLN and parent company Ford have its collection of hybrids, and an all-electric car may not be too far behind. EcoBoost technology is a good way to attract positive, eco-friendly…
