Ford Innovation Gives Leavenworth Drivers an Even Quieter Ride

Sure you put your Ford truck to the test on a daily basis, but that's what it's made for. You don't want to hear any back-talk out of it. Well, Ford reads you loud and clear.

Accordingly, the American automaker is utilizing 3D mapping technology to improve the overall ride in new Ford pickups. And smoother driving means even less engine noise than before. Apparently, it all comes down to the axle?

Spied: The Ford Fiesta ST in America

We've known for some time that the Ford Fiesta ST would be making a statement in Europe, but we could only cross our fingers that it would be doing the same thing here in the United States. That's right, Ford wouldn't make a statement either way - so we've been erring on the side of caution and assuming it wouldn't cross the pond this year. But recent spy shots have us...

Goodguys 2012 Tank's Hot Rod of the Year? A Ford, of Course.

As one of the original American hot rods, the 1932 Model B Ford became known as the Deuce Coupe, the perfect car for modifying and stripping of extra weight. Ford EcoBoost Engines Continue to Impress

The news keeps getting better for new car shoppers: engines are getting more efficient while they're also getting more powerful. The latest example of this is the 2013 Ford Taurus, powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that boasts six-cylinder power with just four cylinders pumping away under the hood. That's 240-horsepower, 270 lb-ft of torque, and an impressive 32 miles to the gallon on the highway.

These EPA-official numbers mean that the...

Some Unconventional Measurements from Ford

We have a weird question for you. Are you ready?

How many ping pong balls do you think would fit inside a 2013 Escape? A thousand? A couple thousand? Try 56,778 in all. That's including all of the cup holders, overhead and center console storage bins, and even the glove box.

So now you probably have a question for us. It's okay, we had the same question at first, too. And that...

Ford Continues to Cut Energy Use

The Zeck Ford showroom is full of fuel-efficient new Ford models like the 36 mpg 2012 Ford Focus and the 29 mpg Taurus. This may seem impressive at first glance, but it's only one part of the automaker's plan to reduce their energy consumption.

Cars like the Focus are exactly the models that have helped Ford boost the fuel-efficiency of their lineup by 17 percent since 2006. But it goes far beyond the...
