Introducing the Revamped 2021 Ford F-150 Pickup
Find New Trucks for Sale in Kansas City at Zeck Ford
Truck lovers, rejoice! The 2021 Ford F-150 is here, and it’s the most useful truck Ford has ever released. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of trucks: a work-from-truck truck, a daily driver or powerhouse, and a comfortable family vehicle with enough features to make you feel like you’re driving a luxury vehicle.
The 2021 model year of new trucks for sale has been revised and edited to perfection, and there’s really nothing that Ford left out. They even worked with anthropologists to learn how Americans use their trucks, and then made sure the accessories and features they added fulfilled those unique needs. Find them at Zeck Ford!
The Ford F-150 User Experience
In previous model years, Ford learned that many truck owners wear work gloves, so they added sculpted finger holds on interior door handles to make them easier to use. That same model year, Ford added grooves in the tailgate handle to make it easier to open with just one hand, and formed the box step to accommodate a large work boot. Knowing their audience has made Ford and its F-150 so successful that it’s the most popular truck on the road today.
On the 2021 F-150, you’ll find tie-down cleats on the edge of the tailgate, longer running boards that extend as you kick your foot underneath the truck, and zone lighting to illuminate the perimeter of the truck. You can even control the lights with a smartphone app.
Other fun features include:
- Max-recline seats, which lay flat for a midday nap on the job site or at the office. We expect to see this feature later in 2021.
- A fold-out work surface in the center console that serves as a table for using your laptop, organizing or preparing documents, or having lunch.
- Pro Power Onboard, a power generator powerful enough to charge your tools (or make coffee, or plug in a crock pot at the Chiefs tailgate).
- Rear-seat storage and underseat storage to conceal your valuables.
- Folding back seats to allow you to haul large items inside the cab.
- Exterior work surface, complete with measuring tool, cupholder, tablet holder, smooth writing surface, writing utensil storage, and clamps for cutting lumber.
Towing Capacity on the 2021 F-150
The towing capacity of these Ford trucks with powerful engines is best-in-class. One such remarkable engine is the one under the hood of the Powerboost, a full hybrid engine with 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that runs on both gasoline and electricity. It gets up to 700 miles per gallon of gas, but can still produce the best-in-class horsepower and torque necessary to haul heavy loads.
You’ll find just-as-unmatched gas-powered or diesel-powered engines in the 2021 model year, if hybrids aren’t your thing.
So Many Trim Levels to Choose From
One of the best things about an F-150 is that there’s a trim level to suit any need – six, in fact, from the XL to the Limited.
The XL is a basic truck for daily driving or worksite use, while the Limited trim level feels more like a luxury vehicle that’s been stuffed full of amenities and premium finishes.
Between the two, you’ll see the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum, in regular, SuperCrew, and SuperCab cabin options, plus multiple bed sizes.
New Ford Trucks Come with Standard Safety Features
One of the best things about Ford trucks is that the automaker included lots of standard safety features. The competition, however, charged you more for them. This model year, Ford continues to make some of the safest trucks available, without having to pay a serious premium for them. Trailer blind spot monitoring is offered as an option on truck trim levels designed for hauling.
Standard security features of the new trucks for sale are:
- Rear cross traffic alert
- Evasive steering assist
- Following distance alert
- Cruise control
- Lane-keeping assist
- Active park assist
- Reverse brake assist
- Rearview camera
