What makes a car model hot? It just has that certain… je ne sais quois. That means, “We don’t really know.” Here at Zeck Ford, we just know it when we see it.

Truthfully, there’s not a specific formula that makes a vehicle hot. It just inherently is. But Ford Motor Company has been getting the hotness equation down to a science for this new model year.

Their goal? To make all the latest Ford offerings fall into that very, very hot category that most automakers can only reach with one or two models in their stable.

Let’s take a look at what we think will be the four hottest Fords to roll off the assembly line for the 2021 model year:

  • Ford Bronco
  • Ford Explorer
  • Ford F-150
  • Ford Mustang

Resuscitating the 2021 Ford Bronco in Kansas City

After 25 years, Ford resurrected the Bronco in its signature boxy shape and brought it into the new millennium with a modern color palette and tough design elements designed seamlessly going between off-roading and city driving.

What makes the new Bronco so hot? All its available trimlines and packages that let you customize your two-door or four-door beast. And, it’s available by reservation only through Zeck Ford in Leavenworth, with a small deposit. Choose from seven trimlines with up to seven G.O.A.T modes, the all-terrain management system that stands for “Goes Over All Types of Terrain” (but we prefer “Greatest of All Time”), and lots of premium choices for the interior and exterior alike.

The First Edition limited run, an exclusive trimline, is already sold out, but you can get a similar Bronco by combining accessories packages. We recommend the Sasquatch and Lux packages to get the most versatile Bronco available. Read more about what’s available on the 2021 Ford Bronco.

Cruise Down the Interstate in a 2021 Ford Explorer in Overland Park

Although we, like you, are still awaiting specifics on the 2021 Ford Explorer, thanks in part to the coronavirus pandemic, we do know that you can expect to see only minor interior and exterior updates to this model year’s SUV. That’s because the 2020 Explorer was already completely redesigned, and Ford did it right the first time.

The changes you can watch for include standard heated front seats on all trim lines, plus an optional heated steering wheel. We expect more luxe finishes to be added to the Limited, ST, and Platinum trimlines. We believe rear-wheel drive will remain standard, but fuel efficient and performance options will be available across all the trims, including the enduring hybrid variant that produces 290 horsepower.

On the interior, we’re hopeful for slightly more legroom and improved visibility; on the exterior, we foresee a wider front grille and enhanced headlight aesthetics. What makes the Explorer so hot? Its possible reduced pricing for an even better midsize SUV! Read more about our predictions for the 2021 Ford Explorer.

Drive Off in the Truck of All Trades: The 2021 Ford F-150

Ford Motor Company has conducted a lot of sociological research about how people use their pick-up trucks. While many of them work like a premium family SUV, there are still plenty that become masters of the jobsite. The biggest takeaway? Thanks to COVID-19, people are spending more time in their vehicles than other forms of transportation. That means the 2021 Ford F-150 has to be pretty darn good!

Depending on which of the many trim levels you choose from, you can expect impressive and useful features, like: an integrated power generator, advanced driver-assist systems, new Sync 4 infotainment system, exterior and interior work surfaces, max-recline seats, zone lighting, and an available full hybrid engine.

What makes the F-150 hot? How about that Ford sold 900,000 of them last year alone, making them the most-sold vehicle on the road. Get it on the Ford reputation for the 2021 model year. Learn more about this tough truck.

2021 Ford Mustang Brings the Mach 1 Back to Life

It’s a big year for Ford revivals, and the Mustang is no exception. Ford announced that it’s resurrecting the Mach 1 for a limited-edition coupe with a 480-horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 engine with six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission. The Mach 1’s heritage-inspired appearance includes a unique front-end and black stripes on the hood and sides. It gets some of its aerodynamic elements, cooling upgrades, and other performance pieces courtesy of the Shelby GT350 and GT500, so this new, old pony car is no joke.

There’s something for everyone in the Mustang line-up, starting with its standard turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder; the GT with its V8; or the Bullitt model with enhanced V8. Even with the throwback on deck for 2021, the new model is fully functional with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, booming stereo, Wi-Fi hotspot, and Ford Sync Connect, which lets you monitor your precious car through a smartphone app.

Why is the 2021 Ford Mustang so hot? It’s a Mustang, duh! But in all seriousness, Ford has mastered beautiful bodywork, personalization, and a practical interior that challenges the Chevy Camaro or Dodge Challenger – it’s counterparts coming off the production line today.
